Newt's Story

Meet Newt! She was found under the backyard shed of one of our Foster Mothers, along with her sister, Raven, and her brothers, Twig and Gizmo. We took them in at 7 weeks old, and this girl was immediately ready to be an indoor kitten!

From the first moment we met Newt, she was a calm, quiet girl who was very receptive to being held and handled, and she didn't even make a fuss when she was taking her deworming medication or flea preventative. If we didn't know any better, we'd think she was someone's kitty that got out!

Our Foster Mother says that Newt would make a perfect "starter cat" for a child learning how to take care of their first pet, or for an adult who never had a pet before. She is very low maintenance, she loves doesn't make much of a mess (SOME mess, she IS a kitten! Just not a lot!), she isn't a super chatty girl, but she is always down to snuggle!

Newt has been around big dogs. She was scared at first, but grew very nonchalant to them rather quickly. Once they sniffed her and moved on, she was bored with them. She tolerates their barking, but definitely is no longer scared.

Now 5 months old, all of these "Shed Babies" have their own personalities and loveable little quirks. Newt's personality of someone who is just happy to be your buddy. She doesn't ask for much, she doesn't get too excited. She's very laid back, and she would love to chill with you forever!
