Nevaeh's Story

Neveah was rescued as an adult 5 years ago and has overcome her feral stage. She is a classy lady and a beautiful cat. She is initially shy, but warms up after a couple of visits. She loves treats and pets in the head. Sometimes she lets you know you are moving too fast, but nothing too mean. She plays a little, but she is mostly a couch potato. She is okay with cats around her, but she has been rarely seen cuddling with other animals. We do not know how she would react with children. We want to find her a home where there is a laid back cat or just her. We are sure that she will open up in no time and would love to see if she is even more lovable! Lighthouse Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

We do not adopt on a first-come-first-serve basis, but rather by the best match between dog and family, although we will factor in the order of applications if there are equally good matches. Visitors at our shelter are by appointment only and are limited to those who have submitted applications. 1. Submit Application: https://www.lighthouseanimalshelter.org/application-instructions 2. Volunteers review your application. 3. After review, you will be contacted to set up an appointment. 4. Home Check: Some pets require a home visit. In some cases, a home visit is not required. It depends on factors such as fencing, children, & other pets. 5. Sign Adoption Contract: You will receive all medical paperwork, a new leash and collar, and food your new pet is used to eating.

At Lighthouse Animal Shelter, an all volunteer, 501(c)3 organization, we promote the welfare of animals at risk of euthanasia.
