Nessie's Story

Meet Nessie! Nessie came into the shelter December 6th found in the county. She either fell out of a vehicle or was hit, we are not sure but, either way, we were able to get her fixed up, she had a busted lip, and now she is ready to be in the comfort of a new home. Nessie is a little shy at first but once she gets to know you, she will run up to you and asks to be held and loved. This little lady is very clean, kittens tend to make a mess of their kennel but not Nessie, she would rather just lay around and relax. Our staff say that the love that she is a purr box and also that she is curious and playful. Come meet Nessie today at the Alpine Animal Services Shelter, 2900 Old Marathon Hwy Alpine, TX 79830.

All potential adopters are required to fill out our adoption application. If the animal is ready for adoption and the adopter's application is approved, they can take the animal immediately after the adoption fee is paid. We may require a home visit prior to adoption and if multiple applications are submitted, we reserve the right to pick the most appropriate adopter for that animal. We also reserve the right to deny an application.
