Nessie's Story

Nessie has truly blossomed during the past two months in foster care, growing noticeably more confident and friendly with each passing week. Once given time to settle in, her sweet personality shines through-she enjoys being near her people and will happily curl up in a lap during quiet evenings on the couch. While she isn't quite comfortable being picked up yet, she shows her affection in her own gentle way and continues to make wonderful progress every day.

This playful girl has lots of energy and a curious spirit. She loves interactive play, especially chasing string toys, automatic toys, and the laser pointer-particularly when treat rewards are involved. Catnip is an instant favorite and brings out her silly, joyful side. At around 8 pounds, she's a great size for playtime and cuddles alike, and she's fully litter box trained, making her an easy addition to a loving home.

Her routine is just as charming as her personality. She eagerly looks forward to her morning wet food breakfasts and settles in nicely at night, staying quiet while her humans sleep. With her playful energy balanced by calm, affectionate moments, she would do best in a home that can offer patience, gentle encouragement, and plenty of play. She's ready to continue building trust and share her growing confidence with a forever family.

Nessie would do well as the only cat in the home, and may enjoy the company of a friendly resident cat.

Nessie is negative for FIV and FeLV. Like all ACR cats, Nessie is up-to-date on vaccines and has been treated for fleas and parasites.
