Nena's Story

Nena is an affectionate young female kitten who was rescued from a hoarding situation just before she was about to be abandoned. She is estimated to be around 4–5 months old and has a loving, gentle personality. She enjoys being petted, held, and spending time with people. While she’s not a big fan of dry food, she currently eats Sheba kitten wet food and Royal Canin kitten dry food. Nena is microchipped and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. She is scheduled to be vaccinated and spayed at the end of September, and will be ready to join her forever family soon after. Grateful Paws NJ's Adoption Policy

1. Submit Application https://forms.gle/TN5hH92GYfXVrYev5 2. Interview After we receive your application, we will set up a virtual interview/homecheck to meet you and make sure your home is safe for animals. 3. Meet the Pet Depending on where you live and where the pet is fostered, you can either meet the animal virtually or in-person. 4. Sign Adoption Contract Once you're approved as an adopter and you're 100% the animal is the one for you, we send you an adoption contract to sign. 5. Pay Fee Once the adoption contract is signed, we request the adoption fee. We collect adoption fees via Venmo, PayPal, cash or check. 6. Take the Pet Home Once the contract is signed and the fee is paid, it's time for you to bring your new pet home! We take time to get to know you and what you're looking for in your next best friend. Our interview process is extensive. Our relationship doesn't end at adoption day - we are here for any questions or concerns along the way!
