His owners were contacted and although they “said” they were happy he was safe, they MOVED out of the state and left him to navigate such a dangerous environment! Those SOB’s abandoned him!<br/><br/>This sweet boy is a total love bug. He loves to give and get rubs. He will rub against your ankles and plop down on your feet. He LOVES neck or cheek scratches and will roll right into your hands if you gently rub his ears. He’s a quiet, gentle giant who likes being near his person. The minute you sit down, he’s right next to you !<br/><br/>He’ll need a little patience while he adjusts and explores his new home—he does not hide, but will need some time to bond with his new people and other cats. He is both food and toy motivated, so it won’t take long!<br/>His next home HAS to be forever with someone who will never abandon him again. <br/><br/><br/>The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org.<br/><br/>All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are vaccinated. If they have been rescued as kittens under 4 months, they will not have a rabies vaccine. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped. <br/><br/>We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag! We do not do out of state adoptions for the safety of our cats.
