We fostered Nelson as a newborn, and he, along with his brother, was adopted by a single man and his elderly mother, who lived with him. They also have a cat that is about a year older than Nelson and his brother. His mother was very close to all three cats, and she passed away a few months ago. <br/><br/>Nelson has emerged to be very energetic and demands a lot of attention in the form of play. Even though his previous owner loves him, he cannot give Nelson the time and energy he requires. Nelson is so active that he takes his time away from the other two cats. We were told he gets along with the other two very well but makes his presence known! Nelson's previous owner feels he will do best in a busy household with people entertained by his humorous antics.<br/><br/>We have had Nelson for a few days and have experienced his playful spirit and affection firsthand! He will fit right into any household and probably do best with another cat to keep him company and be his partner in crime!<br/><br/><br/><br/>Purrinc is a Christian-based organization with a mission to Improve the lives of cats. We specialize in cats that will bond closely but would otherwise 'age out on the shelf' because they are shy or need special understanding. Without it, they would never know the love, safety, and comfort of a furever home. *Please do not adopt if you believe in disciplining a cat, including 'water bottle training.' We are a behavioral rescue and believe in positive redirection to adjust behavior rather than punishment with cats.*
