“Whoa, Nelly!”<br/><br/>Life sure has been a ride for this stunning feline! Nelly has spent her entire life as a colony cat and we bet she has a good “tail” or two to tell! While this sweet little lady has enjoyed some great outdoor adventures, she is now ready to kick back (indoors!) and enjoy some well-deserved R&R.<br/><br/>ABOUT NELLY<br/>- In foster<br/>- Nelly is described by her foster mom as shy, sweet, and affectionate on her terms.<br/>- Nelly is a bit of an explorer, often checking things out and playing with toys she finds lying around. <br/>- She is food motivated and will put her paws on her foster’s legs to beg for treats! <br/>- Nelly likes to hide in her foster’s closet and help her pick out her outfits!<br/>- This gorgeous kitty likes to greet her foster mom with a side rub when she comes home from work and Nelly now lets her pet her entire back.<br/>- Lately, she’s been laying down in the family room for a nap and has recently started hopping up on the couch to lounge with her foster mom.<br/>- Nelly cuddles with her sibling, Shade. They seem to be close buddies. She lives contentedly with another resident cat.<br/>- Nelly is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.<br/><br/>NELLY’S IDEAL HOME<br/>- Nelly would do well as the only cat in the home, or in a home with an existing friendly feline.<br/>- Nelly would do best in a quiet home, with a patient human who is willing to make the effort to earn her trust gradually, and appreciate the small milestones on her ongoing socialization journey.<br/>- We are unsure if Nelly is good with dogs or young children.<br/>- Her forever family will feed Nelly a special gastric diet to prevent stomach upsets. <br/><br/>Nelly is eager to settle down and embrace the good life in a safe and caring fur-ever home.
