Neeko's Story

Meet Neeko! He is a 3-year-old shorthaired brown and white tabby with a friendly, outgoing personality. He came to us from another shelter, so his life before arriving is a bit of a mystery, but what we do know is that Neeko makes a great impression. He’s social, enjoys the company of people, and has previously lived successfully with both cats and dogs. Neeko can be quite the conversationalist and isn’t shy about sharing his thoughts, especially when he’s feeling playful—he loves toys of all kinds and is always up for some fun. He may do best in a home with older children who can respect his space and communication style.

To help Neeko settle in, he would benefit from starting out in a single room with all of his resources, giving him time to adjust comfortably to his new surroundings. In a previous home, Neeko was known to be a bit of an escape artist, so adopters should be prepared to keep windows and doors securely closed. He may still enjoy the sights and smells of the outdoors in a safe, supervised way, such as a catio, harness and leash walks, or even stroller adventures. With the right setup, Neeko is ready to thrive in a loving, attentive home.

He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives.
If you have further questions, please call the shelter at (517) 626-6060 or email our adoption staff at adoptions@AdoptLansing.org.
