Nathan (needs a soft place to land)'s Story
CALLING ALL ANGELS! Please help NATHAN find his forever home.

A kind Samaritan was walking through her neighborhood when a thin, tired cat began following her.

He followed her all the way home—and then he stayed.

NATHAN slept on her patio. He was emaciated and clearly starving, so she began feeding him. Although he was already neutered and ear-tipped, it was obvious that this gentle old soul had been surviving outside on his own for quite some time.

Thankfully, those days are now behind him.

The veterinarian estimates NATHAN to be approximately 9–10 years old. His bloodwork and urinalysis look good, and he is so happy to be safe indoors with a full belly, a comfortable couch and kind hands to pet him.

NATHAN is FIV+ and incredibly sweet. After everything he has endured, he remains a gentle, affectionate boy who wants nothing more than a soft place to land for the second chapter of his life.

His mouth, unfortunately, is in very poor condition. We are arranging a dental that will most likely require the removal of most—or possibly all—of his teeth. That is the only medical issue standing between NATHAN and a much more comfortable life.

NATHAN can be adopted now, provided his adopter is willing to bring him to his scheduled dental appointment.

This sweet senior has spent enough time sleeping outside and wondering where his next meal would come from. Now he needs someone who will give him the safe, loving home he should have had all along.

If you would like to adopt NATHAN, please submit an application at passion4paws.org/adopt.

If you would like to help with the cost of his dental, you can donate directly through this Facebook post or online at passion4paws.org/donate. You can mail a check to Passion 4 Paws, PO Box 791, Dayville, CT 06241.

Every donation will help give this gentle old soul the pain-free second chapter he deserves. He is being fostered in Middletown, CT.
