Natalie's Story

Natalie is a smart and resilient girl. She came to our rescue from Schertz, TX. She was surrendered and set to be euthanized because of a broken leg. Animal control saw something special in this gal and contacted us, then drove her all the way to us the next day, and met us at Pointe 183 vet, who agreed to help us with her medical care. Unfortunately, her leg had to be amputated, but she is a trooper. She can get around just about as well as if she had 4 legs. I say in the description that she is smart, that is because she gets my attention and then goes back to her little kennel apartment to show me she wants to go in there and eat and be alone. She also comes to get me if she gets stuck in the house and wants to go back out on the catio. She has only been here 2 weeks and already has made a routine for herself. I will say she is good with other animals. She does hiss, but she is never aggressive, and she is hissing less and less and has become curious about the other cats and dogs in my home.
