‍ THE COUCH PIRATES ARE READY FOR PRE-ADOPTION! ‍<br/><br/>Meet Luffy, Zoro, Chopper & Nami!<br/><br/> These four are officially accepting pre-adoption applications! They are scheduled for their spay/neuter surgeries on September 17 and will be ready to head to their forever homes after that. <br/><br/>These four little pirates have had quite the adventure already. They came to us from a colony when they were little and have weathered some pretty rocky seas since then—including multiple health issues and a whole lot of humans picking, poking, medicating, and generally doing suspicious human things to them. <br/><br/>After lots of love (and snacks), they're remembering that humans actually aren't so scary.<br/><br/>They may each need a little time and patience to settle into a new home, but they have worked SO hard to get here. These babies have done their time as outdoor pirates. They are officially ready to retire from the high seas and live the luxurious life of indoor couch pirates.<br/><br/>‍ LUFFY — Captain of the Crew<br/>Brave, sweet, curious, and always ready for an adventure. Luffy loves exploring, playing, and being right in the middle of whatever is happening. He's interactive, enjoys attention from his humans, and has definitely decided this whole “humans are friends” thing is pretty great.<br/><br/> ZORO — The Mysterious Swordsman<br/>A little more aloof and determined to maintain his mysterious reputation. Zoro is still learning to trust, but once you've earned the privilege of his affection, you'll be rewarded with one seriously impressive thunder purr.<br/><br/> CHOPPER — The Brave Little Doctor<br/>Our biggest glow-up! Chopper started as the shyest of the crew and has come SO far. She's curious, playful, sweet, increasingly interested in attention, and has an impressively loud purr for such a little girl.<br/><br/> NAMI — The Sweet Little Navigator<br/>Our shy little wallflower. Nami prefers to observe before deciding whether she would like to participate, thank you very much. Once comfortable, she loves snacks, playing, ear scratches, and snuggling into the most ridiculously adorable little back-leg sploot.<br/><br/>A note about our crew <br/><br/>These kittens may not walk into a brand-new home and immediately act like they own the place. Their first experiences with humans were complicated, and just as they were learning to trust us, their health issues meant we had to do a whole bunch of things they definitely did not appreciate.<br/><br/>They may need patience.<br/><br/>But they are playful. They are curious. They are sweet. They are learning to seek out affection. And every single one of them has made incredible progress.<br/><br/>They survived their rough start.<br/><br/>Now they deserve the good part: warm beds, ridiculous amounts of toys, dependable meals, humans who love them, and a lifetime of adventures from the safety of the couch. <br/><br/>No more outdoor pirates.
