Nalu's Story

This handsome male kitten is adventurous and curious, always on the lookout for his next discovery. Despite his playful spirit, Naru incredibly lovable and enjoys a good cuddle session once he's done exploring. He's very vocal when it's feeding time and isn't shy about letting you know he's hungry, and he has an especially loud, happy purr. His sister, Nori, is usually close by, and the two enjoy being near each other. If they can't find each other, they will cry out until they are reunited. Naru and Nori are an adorable package deal who can't wait to bring all the fun and cuddles to their new home!

Contra Costa Humane Society's Adoption Policy

CCHS has animals available for adoption through a number of different avenues. Many of our kittens and all dogs are cared for in loving foster homes until they are adopted. Teenage, adult, senior and special-needs cats reside at Kitty Corner, an on-site, private cat shelter where cats are allowed to free-roam at all times, lounge in sunny windows and on comfy cat towers, and play to their heart's galore. Similarly, we also have animals available for adoption through our Re-Homing Assistance Program, where we help to advertise animals that caregivers are no longer able to keep. If you are interested in meeting any of the animals listed on our website, please complete an adoption application unless otherwise noted! Our business office and Kitty Corner are located at 171 Mayhew Way, Suite 101 in Pleasant Hill, CA 94523. Kitty Corner houses adult, senior, and special-needs cats (sometimes teenage kittens).
