Meet Nala, a lovely senior tabby who is looking for a calm, quiet home to spend her golden years. Nala was adopted as a kitten, but due to her owner moving, she’s back in search of a place where she can truly relax and feel safe. Her previous home had other pets and children, which made her feel a little overwhelmed, and she often found herself hiding under furniture to escape the hustle and bustle. Nala has some grooming needs—she doesn’t groom herself as well as she should, and will need a person who is willing to help her keep her coat clean. If regular grooming isn’t possible, she may need to be shaved. She also has a bit of a litter box issue, so patience and understanding will be key in helping her adjust to a new environment. While Nala isn’t a fan of being held, she has a soft side and enjoys gentle pets, especially behind her ears. With time and trust, she will show her affectionate side, and you’ll be rewarded with her sweet company. Nala would do best in a home with older children who will respect her space and understand her need for a quiet environment.
