But don’t let that fool you—once she feels safe and comfortable, her true, affectionate nature shines through.<br/><br/>Nala gets along well with other cats and would absolutely love to be adopted with her sister, Bell, though it’s not required. She’s okay with dogs as long as they respect her space, and she does best with older kids who understand her gentle, sometimes cautious nature.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion who just needs a little time to feel at home, Nala could be the perfect addition to your family.<br/><br/>At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals! <br/>We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend and may require you to bring any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion. <br/><br/>Want to Know if I’m Still Available? <br/>Call the shelter at (989)-835-1877 to confirm my availability.
