Myrtle's Story

This puffy black kitten will be available mid-January and is a perfect mix of soft shyness and irresistible affection. A little timid at first, she quickly melts into your arms once she feels safe, soaking up every bit of love and attention. She's a playful kitten with a curious spirit, currently working on leash training, and she thrives with plenty of interaction. She'll need a companion cat to help her socialize and burn off kitten energy, and she absolutely wants to be around her humans 24/7-always close, always involved, and always ready for cuddles or playtime.

Cattyshack, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

First and foremost, Cattyshack adoptions involve filling out a non-binding application. We really want to process every detail on the app and feel good that we are sending the kitty home with the best possible fit. We also don’t enjoy having a cat returned three days later because you’ve decided scooping a litter box isn’t your thing, or your SO broke up with you and doesn’t want the kitten you gave her as “a gift”. We will do a vet reference to make sure any current animals you own are up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered, so go ahead and get that done before you even bother with an application. We all want to feel like you are REALLY, TRULY, 100% ABSOLUTELY going to commit 15-20 years to this kitten, or 10+ years to the adult cat your are adopting. That’s a big deal. So thank you in advance for your patience with our adoption process.
