Myrtle is a sweet, young kitty that is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly - always ready for a game or a cozy nap with her favorite people (or furry friends). She gets along wonderfully with cats, dogs, and even small children.<br/><br/>This brave girl had a bit of a rough start in life, battling some medical issues as a kitten. She had bladder stones and a few infections, but thanks to great care, she's feeling so much better now! Occasionally, Myrtle still needs vet visits to help manage a mouth condition called stomatitis (it can cause some soreness, but it's quite common in cats). Don't let that scare you off - Myrtle's sweetness is worth is and she's ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and gentle purrs. We're happy to share her medical records so you can discuss her care with your vet if you'd like.

Our dog adoption fees are as follows: Adults(9 months or older) - Large (40lbs or over) - $150 - Small (under 40lbs) - $250 Puppies (under 9 months) - All sizes - $350 Special Pricing (Indicated by * following dog's name on listings at www.houstoncaresrescue.org/adoption) All animals are vetted and spayed/neutered. Our cat adoption fees are as follows: - Cats over 9 months - $85 - Kittens (under 9 months) - $120 - Pair of kittens - $200 Set up a meet and greet with one of our animals!
