Mya's Story

Meet Mya <3

Mya is approximately six months old and quite petite for her age, but what she lacks in size, she more than makes up for in beauty and charm. She is truly striking, with a unique mix of spots and stripes that photos simply don’t do justice.

Mya came to us after being surrendered to our local shelter in very poor condition. She was emaciated and not eating. It was quickly discovered that she had ingested a sewing string that was wreaking havoc on her insides. The string perforated her bowel, and she was in the beginning of the stages of sepsis. Thankfully, she was rushed into surgery right away. A small portion of her bowel had to be removed, but we’re happy to report that Mya has made a full recovery with no complications and is doing beautifully.

Despite everything she’s been through, Mya is an absolute sweetheart. She is playful, social, and just an all-around lovely little cat. She would thrive in a home with a young, playful feline companion—either being adopted alongside one of her foster siblings or joining a home that already has a friendly, energetic cat. She has also been around dogs and children and does well with both.

Mya is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and combo tested negative for FIV and FeLV. All she needs now is a loving home to call her own <3

Don't miss your chance to bring this love-bug home.
