Murphy's Story

Murphy (or Piper the Sassy sister! as it turns out) is still very shy but slowly coming out of her shell. However shes not shy around other cats, just humans because were so big. Shes obsessed with kickers and loves to people and bird watch. Shes treat motivated and has a lot of energy when youre not looking. Shes a bit spicy when it comes to taking medicine or clipping nails but if you reward with treats immediately after, shes fine. Shes getting used to it and fighting me less and less. Shes very smart! She would be great as a single household cat but would be even better if she were adopted with one of her siblings.

Coastal Pet Rescue's Adoption Policy
All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected). Out of Area Coastal Pet Rescue does not ship or "transport" animals out of area. All adopters must be available to come to Savannah, GA to complete the adoption after approval. Microchip: CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf. Adoption Fees: Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.
