With Halloween around the corner, we thought it was the perfect time to introduce Munchie, our 10-year-old tuxedo gentleman and what we lovingly call a spirit cat. No, he won’t be haunting your house... unless you count quietly appearing when he’s ready for a little company.<br/><br/><br/>Munchie is a sweet boy who is still figuring out this whole living-with-humans thing. He enjoys gentle attention and cuddles, and he’ll even keep purring as he ventures out of his hiding spot when he feels safe. But sometimes, the world gets to be a little too much. When he’s overstimulated, he may swat/bat and that can startle him, too. He needs someone who can recognize his signals, respect his boundaries, and give him the space to feel safe again.<br/><br/><br/>Munchie needs a very special kind of person. Someone patient, compassionate, and willing to let trust grow on his timeline. Someone who understands that he may never be a lap cat or a social butterfly—and that’s okay. Love doesn’t always look like a cat curled up in your arms. Sometimes, it looks like a cat choosing to sit nearby, a soft purr from a hiding place, or the quiet joy of knowing he feels safe with you.<br/><br/><br/>Munchie may also do well with a very chill household dog who won't expect too much from him.
