Muffin (diabetic, solo kitty)'s Story

Muffin is a sweet, shy and beautiful 10-year-old girl who has recently had her world turned upside down when her guardian passed away. Through no fault of her own, Muffin suddenly found herself without the only home she has ever known.

Despite everything she has been through, Muffin is an incredibly sweet girl. She is gentle, quiet, and deeply sensitive. She is very shy at first and needs time, patience, and kindness to feel safe, but once she does, her soft and loving nature truly shines. She enjoys pets, being brushed, and making lots of biscuits. She would do best in a calm, quiet home with no other pets and no children, where she can feel secure and move at her own pace.

Her foster family is currently managing her diabetes through medication, and they are hopefully that in time she will go into remission through diet and exercise. She is a good girl when taking her medication.

Would you like to make Muffin a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: https://www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form.

Muffin's adoption fee is $200. Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
