Muffin's Story

Meet Muffin – a shy girl looking for a patient, understanding home.

Muffin is a 5–6 year old female cat who spent most of her life living outdoors and is still learning what it means to be an indoor cat. Because of this, she will need a special home with someone willing to give her plenty of time and patience while she adjusts.

She is naturally shy and skittish, especially around loud sounds, and would do best in a quiet adult-only home. Muffin would likely be happiest as the only pet, where she can settle in at her own pace without the stress of other animals or children.

While she may take time to trust, Muffin has a sweet side that starts to show once she feels safe. She is very motivated by food and that has been a great way to help her build confidence. When she becomes comfortable with someone, she enjoys gentle pets and attention. She also loves playing with a feather wand toy and relaxing in the sun on a cat perch.

Muffin is looking for a calm, patient person who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let her move at her own pace. In the right home, she has the potential to become a very rewarding companion.

If you think you might be the right home for Muffin, please reach out to learn more.

Apply Here:
https://www.catsatlargemke.org/adoption-application

Adoption Fee:
$100

Adoption Fee Includes:
Age appropriate vaccinations
routine dewormers
spay/neuter
microchip
routine flea and tick preventative.

**Applicants are subject to routine background check, vet check, landlord/housing check. Cats at Large's Adoption Policy
Please do not use the Petfinder Inquiry feature to contact us, as that inbox is not monitored by our volunteers. If you are interested in adopting please visit our website directly and fill out our application at: https://www.catsatlargemke.org/adoption-application We value an open adoption policy, treating every adopter as an individual. We strive to meet adopters “where they are” and help them to be the best pet owners they can be. We prioritize removing barriers to pet ownership, which means working with each adopter to help them find an appropriate pet that fits their specific lifestyle. By supporting adopters rather than judging them, we can place more animals in homes and shorten their length of stay in foster homes.
