Muffin's Story

Muffin, DSH, Brown Tabby with White, Female spayed, 1 year old Muffin is a very shy and timid girl. She needs some time to become comfortable with new people and places, but once she warms up, she is very sweet. She will need a family that can give her the time she needs to become comfortable in her new home. Before any cat or kitten gets adopted they are spayed or neutered, micro chipped and up to date on shots. All members of the household must meet the cat and the adopter must provide proof of either home ownership or a lease with a pet policy allowing cats. To meet our cats visit them at the shelter. We are open to the public seven days a week between the hours of 1pm and 4pm. Please call our facility at 732-657-8086 for more information about any of our pets!

Ocean County Animal Facility - North's Adoption Policy

Our General Adoption Policy: -Everyone in the house-hold (for dog adoptions this includes any dogs that live in the home) need to meet the pet prior to adoption -Proof of Residence – Homeowner: mortgage statement or tax bill. Rental: lease with pet policy stating any specifications of breeds and number of animals allowed -Driver’s License or valid proof of identification -Fill out an Adoption Questionnaire and get it approved by Facility Management -Exact Cash or a check with an address matching that on the Driver’s License (Dogs are $60; Cats are $55) ALL ADOPTIONS ARE ON A FIRST COME/FIRST SERVE BASIS. WE CANNOT PLACE ANY HOLDS ON ANY PETS.
