Mufasa came to Shining Light Animal Rescue from an abandoned home where he was living among a cat colony. At first, we believed he might be more feral due to how standoffish he appeared outdoors. However, the moment he was safely trapped and gently touched, he began purring — and truly has not stopped since.<br/><br/>Mufasa is a giant purring machine. He is incredibly affectionate once he feels safe and is simply a grateful, chill dude who enjoys quiet companionship and gentle affection. He has striking green eyes and a beautiful, fluffy coat.<br/><br/>Mufasa has crinkled ears, likely the result of untreated hematomas from surviving on his own. These old injuries healed poorly but do not cause him any issues and only add to his unique character.<br/><br/>Mufasa does great with other cats and dogs and is especially wonderful with children. He is patient, gentle, and easygoing, making him an excellent family companion.<br/><br/>Mufasa may not be your typical cat, but he is deeply lovable and forms strong bonds with his people.
