Ms. Lynn's Story
Do you want to feel like a hero? Are you looking for a cat no one else wants? (other than her foster mom, of course <3). Look no further!

Our sweet Ms. Lynn (AKA Linnie) who, despite being like 55% blind, managed to survive on the streets while raising kittens. (All her kittens have been adopted!). An infection left her eyes with scarring before we got to her, but she can still see well enough to jump up on things and play. And boy does she play.

I thought she was old and resigned at first, but once she met my other fosters, she perked up and continues to be incredibly playful. Any cat who walks by her has a good chance of being playfully tackled (and also groomed!).

Because she is SO happy with other cats, I wouldn't want to adopt her to a home that doesn't have another cat.

Her current best friend is Silas, an orange kitten with six toes who is also adoptable. They love playing footsie or rabbit kicking each other. She is so loving that she becomes close friends with any cats around her.

She also is really responsive to her name! If I can't find her, I'll just say "Linnie" or "Linnie Poo" and she comes right on out and gets her head scritches.

She loves being pet on her head and lets you hold her (but gets restless to be back on the floor where her cat friends are), and she gets excited for wet food.

~

All cats and kittens adopted through Friends of Felines are spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on FVRCP vaccinations and rabies shots. Lynn tested negative for FeLV and positive for FIV. FIV does not affect longevity of life and can only be spread through a hard, aggressive bite (and Ms. Lynn would never)

If you'd like to meet this icon, see our adoption process below:

1) Fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofelines.org/adopt
2) Meet with the cat in their foster home
3) If you and the cat are a match then we will set a take home date 1-7 days after the meeting depending on schedules.

** We are not able to hold cats for a particular family longer than about 7 days, unless the cat is available for pre-adoption which will be noted on their profile. Please wait to apply until you are ready to take a cat home. **

We are a completely foster-based nonprofit rescue run by volunteers. We do this work out of love<3
