Ms. Lynn's Story
Our sweet Ms. Lynn (AKA Linnie) despite being like 60% blind, managed to survive on the streets while raising kittens. (All her kittens were adopted months ago). An infection left her eyes with scarring before we got to her, but she can still see well enough to jump up on things and play. And boy does she play.

Once Lynnie met my other fosters, she perked up and continues to be playful. Any kitten who walks by her has a good chance of being playfully tackled (and also groomed!).

Because she is SO happy with other cats/kittens and is SO good at grooming them, I wouldn't want to adopt her to a home that doesn't have another cat.

Her best friend Silas (an orange kitten with six toes) got adopted, but she's also good friends with Fiona and loves playing with and grooming the foster kittens (currently Howl and Arrietty). She is so loving that she becomes close friends with any cats around her.

She also is really responsive to her name! If I can't find her, I'll just say "Linnie" or "Linnie Poo" or "Ms. Lyyyyn" and she comes right on out and gets her head scritches.

All cats and kittens adopted through Friends of Felines are spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on FVRCP vaccinations and rabies shots. Lynn tested negative for FeLV and positive for FIV. FIV does NOT affect longevity of life and can only be spread through a hard, aggressive bite (and Ms. Lynn would never.)

If you'd like to meet this icon, see our adoption process below:

1) Fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofelines.org/adopt
2) Meet with the cat in their foster home
3) If you and the cat are a match then we will set a take home date 1-7 days after the meeting depending on schedules.

** We are not able to hold cats for a particular family longer than about 7 days, unless the cat is available for pre-adoption which will be noted on their profile. Please wait to apply until you are ready to take a cat home. **

We are a completely foster-based nonprofit rescue run by volunteers. We do this work out of love3
