Mrs. Peabody's Story

Meet Mrs. Peabody

Born in 2018, Mrs. Peabody is an absolutely fabulous buff-and-white lady and possibly the most affectionate cat in the shelter. This girl gives hugs, kisses, headbutts, and full-on tongue baths, because apparently loving you means licking you from top to bottom with her rough little tongue. It hurts so good. She also gets little eye gunkies that we wipe away almost every day, which she tolerates with the long-suffering dignity of a woman who has been asked to endure a terrible injustice. But once the wipe is over? Straight back to headbutting your face and marking you with her spittle. She's basically a tiny, furry, slightly gross love machine, and we are absolutely obsessed with her.

If you've spent years conditioning yourself to appreciate the sweet malodor of cat breath, the feeling of sandpaper against your face, and a little eye booger here and there, Mrs. Peabody may be your dream girl. After spending too many years outdoors, she desperately deserves a soft home and a family of her own. She'd prefer not to share her people with other pets, thank you very much. She has love to give and wants to give all of it to you. She is truly a shelter favorite and one of the most wonderful, ridiculous, affectionate cats we've ever met.

Her adoption fee is $130 and includes:

* Spay surgery
* Vaccinations
* Flea & worm treatment
* Veterinary exam
* A starter bag of food

That's a $300 - $500 value, plus one gloriously gross, ridiculously loving little lady who is ready to lick her way into your heart.
