Meet Mr. Tiger FIV+
A note from Mr. Tiger's foster mom.
Mr. Tiger/Mr. Tigger is about 5 years old and 18.9 pounds! He is an alpha male who wouldn't come near any human. He found a home in my neighbors shop/barn. He started visiting my porch in the arctic months. I have a heated cat house on the front porch. I was able to trap him and take him to be vetted and vaccinated. After that he began trusting me more and I have kept him in a spare bedroom where we have worked at socializing him. He loves belly rubs and head bops. He cuddles and is enjoying being a strictly indoor mellow fellow. You will see that one of his ears is damaged due to frost bite and fighting.
After talking to his foster mom we have learned that he needs to be the only pet in the home but he gets along wonderfully with his foster moms granddaughter. He does have FIV, which means his immune system is a bit lower so if he gets sick it may take him a while longer to get better. But FIV cats that are kept indoors and in a loving home live long, happy, normal lives.
My adoption fee is $60.

All of the cats in Kitty Cat Connection's (KCC) care are lovingly cared for in foster homes. This gives us the ability to match adopters with the purrfect cat or kitten. All of our adoptable cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, given FVRCP and rabies vaccines and combo tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia. KCC is a foster based rescue, we do not have a main facility. We have an adoption venue at PetSmart located at 8970 NW Skyview Ave, Kansas City, MO 64154. There is a small adoption center in the store and we have cats featured daily at the store that you can see in person. Our adoption events are at PetSmart every Saturday afternoon from 1pm to 4:30pm. We occasionally hold Saturday morning adoptions and Sunday adoptions at PetSmart depending on how many volunteers are able to the attend adoption event.
