And that really is true - Mr. Snugglesby absolutely loves attention, and is only truly happy when he's snuggled up in your arms. Mr. Snugglesby came in as a stray, and was fighting a cold. While he's healing up, he's not available to the public, so he's just had to be content with the attention the employees can give him. We're sure that as soon as he's available, he will gladly soak up the adoration!

Humane Society of the High Plains's Adoption Policy

Adoption Fees Spayed/Neutered Dogs $90 Spayed/Neutered Cats $80 Intact Dogs $90 + $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit. Intact Cats $80 + $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit. A $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit is required for all unaltered animals. Kansas State Law KSA: 47-1701, requires all animals adopted from an animal shelter be spayed or neutered. Lonely Hearts Club Adoption Fees are half-priced for any animal that has been residing at the shelter for at least 30 days. Requirements: You must be at least 18 years of age to adopt. Landlord approval is required. All unaltered animals must be spayed or neutered before a predetermined date. We DO NOT adopt animals as gifts. Ask about our gift certificates. All adoptions must be processed in person at the shelter.
