**Meet Mr. Sad Eyes – The Sweetheart Who's Ready for His Happy Ending** Approximately 2 years old, discovered in Detroit, M Don't let the name fool you--Mr. Sad Eyes is a total lovebug with a heart as big as his purr. If you are looking for an extremely LOVING cat, who wants to be carried like a baby, and will follow you and put both paws on your legs as he beckons to be carried, then Sad Eyes is the cat for you! Mr. Sad Eyes story: Mr. Sad Eyes was part of a cat colony in a neighborhood in Detroit. He was shy and very wary of humans for over a year. Then, one day, he approached his feeder and let out a loud meow. She tried offering him more food, different food, wet food... then realized he wasn't hungry, he was lonely. He was tired of the street life and wanted a human and home to call his own. Quite out of the blue, he put his paws on her lap, hopped onto her, and the rest is history. Mr. Sad Eyes used to be territorial, and had gotten kicked out of his his colony (by his cat friends) many times for bad behavior. However after being neutered, hes transformed into a total sweetheart. He gets along well with cats (old and young) but humans are his favorite. Your new best friend is waiting. Bottle Babies Rescue's Adoption Policy

We are a foster based rescue and require a adoption application submitted to us before any meet and greets are scheduled. Please keep in mind we get an overwhelming number of applications for each animal and we review applications in the order they are received. If you are approved, you will receive an email from us and a volunteer will follow up with a phone call to schedule a time to meet the animal and finalize the adoption. It's important you provide contact information for your landlord (if you rent), parents (if you live with them) and vet (if you have pets already). Omitting this information will slow down the review process and/or force us to skip over your application. All of our babies are spayed & neutered, Micro chipped, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, Felv Fiv & heartworm tested. They will also be up to date on their flea meds, before they can go to their new homes. We highly recommend socialization and obedience training for all puppies. Every home is chosen according to the needs and temperament of the individual fur baby, we like to ensure they thrive in their home environment. If you are not chosen for a certain fur baby this does not disqualify you from applying for another animal in our care.
