Mr. Rodgers's Story

Meet Mr. Rodgers

Just like his name suggests, Mr. Rodgers is all about kindness and love. This sweet boy was sadly dumped outside and had clearly been through a tough time trying to survive on his own. When we brought him in, it was obvious he hadn't had it easy - he had scabs around his neck and ears from scuffles with other stray cats. Despite everything he endured, his gentle spirit never faded.

After standard testing, we discovered that Mr. Rodgers is FIV positive. FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) simply means he has a weakened immune system. The good news? FIV+ cats can live long, happy, completely normal lives with proper care and a loving indoor home. The only restriction is that he would need to be the only cat in the home or live with another FIV+ cat, as we want to prevent any possible spread to FIV-negative cats.

And let us tell you - this boy is worth it.

Mr. Rodgers is incredibly affectionate. All he wants is love and a safe place to call home. He absolutely melts for butt scratches and cheek rubs. Give him a little time to feel comfortable, and he'll reward you by climbing right into your arms or curling up in your lap for snuggles. He's the kind of cat who bonds deeply and will happily be your constant companion.

After everything he's been through, Mr. Rodgers deserves a cozy home, gentle hands, and someone who will show him the love he's always deserved. If you're looking for a sweet, loyal, affectionate boy to share your heart and couch with, Mr. Rodgers is ready to meet you.

FMAR felines are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for age-appropriate shots and Mr. Rodgers is FIV+
