Mr. Peabody's Story

Hello all, I'm Mr. Peabody, a 16-year-old sweetheart looking to spend my golden years surrounded by love!

My sister-Smooches (also up for adoption)-and I found ourselves at Happy Paws after our mom passed away. When I first came to my foster home, I growled and hissed any time my foster family came near me. My whole world flipped upside, and I didn't know who I could trust. But a few weeks later and I realized they weren't too bad... now I even ask my foster dad for pets by pawing at him when he stops giving me attention!

While I would be okay being the only pet, I would also do well in a home with my sister or other cats who are respectful of my space. (I do great with my foster cat brother, who is 10 years old. However, my 5-year-old foster cat sister has a bit too much energy for my liking.)

I'm a bit scared of the 85-pound dog in my foster home, but with slow intros with a lower energy dog, I might be just fine.

Like your typical cat, I can be particular about how long and where I'm being pet, but I'll let you know when I need my space. I try to show a tough exterior, but I absolutely melt into a softy.

Please submit an application today if you're interested in adding me to your family!

Adoption link: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HPH/Cat

Located in a loving foster home in Livonia, MI.
