Ivy is a VERY tall and slender kitty. He has long legs and a long tail to match! He is super friendly and is a talker. He will tell you all about his day when you get home from work! He is such a sweet guy and enjoys being the only kitty in the home. He would do best as an indoor/outdoor kitty where he can play and explore to his hearts desire. He is VERY good at entertaining himself with toys. As I type this, he is under my desk tossing around his taco toy, letting me get my work done. Ivy would not be good with kids because he prefers a calm, gentle touch and environment. Please come meet him and see what a great kitty he is...you will love him! Stone County Humane Society Inc.'s Adoption Policy
We approve adoptions over the phone by responding to a completed adoption application. Please go to our website schspets.org and complete an online application and someone will contact you. Our adoption fees are $150 for shelter dogs and $200 for Paws in Prison trained dogs, and $75 for cats. We take only cash or check no credit cards. We are open daily from 2 to 5 by appointment only (during the Pandemic). Volunteers are here Monday - Friday from 11 to 5 to answer the phone and help with adoptions.
