Mr. Drysdale's Story

Hello. My name is Mr. Drysdale. I am the eldest of the Beverly Hillbilly kitties (Jethro, Jed, Elly May, and myself) and am trying my best to teach the others how to behave now that we’re out of the sticks and in the big city. But hillbilly habits die hard. I am always catching the Clampetts playing with secondhand toys, even when there are brand new ones in their cage. I hope this behavior does dissuade potential adopters because although they can be a bit rough around the edges, every single one of them is an amazing cat and will make someone a great pet.

As for me, I’m on the shy side, but absolutely love being petted. I might be perfectly fine with other animals in your house, but a slow introduction would be recommended. Although my namesake likes the finer things in life, I will be happy with a loving family and forever home to call my very own (chandeliers unnecessary). Please stop by the shelter to meet me or one of my hillbilly buddies today. And if you’ve already been here, “Y’all come back now, y’hear?”

DOB 10/15/2023

If you're interested in Mr. Drysdale, we ask that you please fill out a "pre-adopt application" that can be found on our website:
https//www.parkvilleshelter.com/adoption-application. We will contact you to schedule an appointment. Thank you.
