Meet Mr. Biggs
Meet Mr. Biggs
Mr. Biggs is a DSH Black Panther with a silky coat that just shines. He is approximately 3 years old.
Mr. Biggs came into rescue after being seen begging door to door for food during the freezing temps we had the beginning of January. My friend's daughter reached out to me asking for my help saying they found a Kitty that was starving and freezing, How can you say no to that?
They brought him to me and HART had him combo tested, vaccinated, rabies and neutered. He got all the good stuff.
However he did get a little bit of bad news, he is FIV Positive, which if anybody knows anything about FIV, it's really not a big deal at all. Just means his immune system is a little more compromised than normal cats, but they can live a happy, healthy and long life, and live a normal life with other pets..
Mr. Biggs is learning how to play with others! He does okay with the kittens, he doesn't really care for the adult cats. So with that being said Mr. Biggs will need to be the only pet in the home meaning no other cats and No DOGS, or you can adopt a kitten with Him.
Fun Facts about Black Cats!
Eastern cultures Believe, the spiritual meaning of black cats can equate to a spiritual protector. It’s believed that keeping a black cat in your home can even offer you protection from dark or evil spirits. Black cats are also said to symbolize medicine and health.
Those who have owned us report the silky felines being very easy-going, calm, and tolerant of children and other animals. We don’t startle easily and are great companions.
Lastly, we are known for being savvy.
We are vigilant and intelligent.
We are very observant as well as being very faithful.
If we find a home that treats us well, we will stay and be incredibly loving and loyal pets, if you are loved or have ever been loved by a black cat, then you know why black cats are the best cats.
Mr. Biggs does enjoy his fancy feast, wet food for breakfast and free feeds all day long. He really enjoys laying on his scratching board. not sure if it's the catnip or that it feels cool. He is a very laid-back chilled cat and is just looking for a laid-back chilled home.
Please note he was rescued off the streets and will tend to want to go outside (by nature) especially at night. Mr. Biggs is no longer an outside cat. No exceptions!
Mr. Biggs is special and is being fostered in-home, he will not be available to see in any PetSmart so please fill out an application if interested so we can set up a meet and greet.
Mr. Biggs won't last long!!! Fill out your adoption application today!
HART recommends kittens 6 months of age and younger be adopted in pairs.
All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer. Thanks!
