Mr. Beam's Story

Hi, Im Mr. Beam, the most adventurous kitten at the shelter! My journey here? Oh, its a funny tale. One day, while chasing a particularly cheeky butterfly, I accidentally followed it right into a picnic basket. Imagine the surprise on the humans faces when they opened it to find me instead of their sandwiches! Laughter all around and next thing I knew, I was here at Paws Animal Shelter, making friends and playing tag. I'm sweet, friendly, and playful, and I'm looking for a forever home where the adventures can continue. Adopt me and lets make every day a playful adventure!

Note from Paws humans: We really don't know anything about Mr. Beam's background, as he was found on his own and was brought to us. He is very sweet and playful and would be a wonderful addition to any family. To apply to adopt any of our cats or kittens, please visit our website and fill out our on-line application at https://www.pawsurbana.org/apply-to-adopt.

Paws Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

We do not do same-day adoptions, as we have an adoption application which must be completed and verified. We do not allow declawing of any of our animals even after they are adopted, and you must sign a contract agreeing to this (we sometimes take cats in who have already been declawed). We also require that all of the cats and kittens adopted from us must be kept exclusively indoors.
