Moxie's Story

Moxie is a cat for the person who understands that a relationship is a series of negotiations. She is a fascinating blend of affection and iron-clad independence, perfect for someone who respects a cat with a strong sense of self.

The Moxie Experience
When it’s just the two of you, Moxie is a different cat. In those quiet, one-on-one moments, she is remarkably sweet, social, and engaged. She’ll seek out your company and share her soft side, making you feel like the most important person in the world.

However, Moxie is also a firm believer in the "Rule of Personal Space." She is highly independent and has a very clear "off switch." If she’s had enough attention or simply wants to retreat into her own world, she will let you know. She uses warning bites as her way of saying, "I love you, but I need my space right now."

Her Perfect Match
Moxie isn't looking for a family with a revolving door of guests; she’s looking for a dedicated partner who can read her cues.

The Solo Star: Moxie insists on being the only cat. She doesn’t want to share the spotlight (or your lap) with anyone else.

The Body Language Expert: Her ideal human is someone who can recognize the subtle flick of a tail or a change in posture before she has to give a "reminder" bite.

The Respectful Roommate: If you’re looking for a cat who is happy to do her own thing for hours at a time, Moxie is your girl.

Why She’s Worth It
Moxie’s affection isn’t a given—it’s a gift. There is a special kind of bond that forms with a cat who chooses her moments. When she decides it’s "us time," it feels earned and authentic. She is a loyal companion for someone who appreciates a pet with a complex, honest personality.

"Moxie is 100% herself, 100% of the time. She just needs a human who is cool with that."

Ready to meet your new best friend ?
