Mouse (CF & DP)'s Story

Meet Mouse – the cat who can’t remember she’s a cat.
Mouse is a cat. We’re fairly certain - she may not be convinced.

Mouse doesn’t meow. She sort of… exists quietly. She loves hugs and kisses but only realizes this after she’s already being hugged and kissed. Same with playtime. She’ll be halfway through a game before it dawns on her that, yes, this is fun and she’s having a great time.

We briefly considered renaming her Moose, but that didn’t feel right. Moose energy is bold and loud. Mouse energy is quiet, gray, and very into hiding until she suddenly remembers she loves attention, pets, and snuggling. And then she’s all in. She just needs a little reminder.

Mouse would do fine as a single kitten if she has a family that’s home most of the time. She’d do even better in a home with another cat or kitten to help remind her that being social is actually awesome.

She was raised with our kids, ages 11 and 14, so she’s used to being cuddled, kissed, and carried around like a tiny queen. She loves a good fishing lure toy, plays hard, and then happily crashes into snuggle mode when she’s done.

If you want to win her heart instantly, crack open a can of Friskies. Works every time.

So, if you’re looking for a kitten who thinks she’s a mouse… or possibly a moose… honestly, we forget which… Mouse might be your girl.

*AVAILABLE BY APPT*

Will be fully vetted including spayed or neutered, double FVRCP vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV (Leukemia-HIV), and treated for fleas and parasites as a preventive measure. Some cats are microchipped (ask foster before adoption). Litter box trained.

Please complete Adoption Application: (cut and paste URL)

www.CatsAtTheStudios.com/adoption-application

and phone/text 619-708-9202 to leave a message or email

DPOOMEE@GMAIL.COM.
