Mouse's Story

Meet Mouse – A Brave Survivor Ready for Her Happily Ever After

Mouse has quite the story to tell. This sweet young kitty was rescued after being hit by a car on I-95 and was placed on the urgent list at ACCT due to her injuries. But thanks to some amazing vet care and a whole lot of heart, Mouse has made a beautiful recovery.

Most of her wounds healed up wonderfully, though she does have some lasting damage to one of her eyes. She’s been seeing a veterinary ophthalmologist, who has trimmed back some of the scar tissue. While not all of it can be removed, her doctor assures us that Mouse can still see and feels no pain or discomfort—just another example of how strong and resilient she is.

Mouse is about 1 year old and has a gentle, loving personality. She may be a little shy when first settling in, but once she feels safe, she truly blossoms. She adores attention, enjoys the company of other cats, and gets along well even with the more dominant kitties in her foster home.

This beautiful girl would thrive in a quieter home with older children or adults who can give her the love and peace she’s fought so hard to deserve. Mouse has been a trooper through everything—and now it’s her turn to rest, relax, and be spoiled in a forever home.

*****If this profile is active on Pet finder, the kitty is still available and has not already been approved for adoption.
