Hi, my name is Mourning Dove. I am a 7-month-old, female, pale grey tabby kitten with short, incredibly soft fur. I'll be upfront with you - I'm a little shy and will probably hide when we first meet — but, don't take it personally! I just need a patient human who will give me time and space to feel safe. I've come SO far since my foster mom rescued me when I was completely unsocialized. When I do get comfortable (and I will!), I'm a sweet, intelligent girl who absolutely loves butt scratches and will leap through the air like an acrobat to catch fishing pole toys — especially if it means beating my siblings to it! I'm not crazy about being picked up just yet, but I love being petted and I'm making progress every day. I NEED to be adopted with one of my more confident siblings, either Smudgey Moo or Sprite Thrill, to help me feel brave. I haven't met dogs or small children yet.
