Moto's Story
Moto was found abandoned outside an emergency hospital when a Good Sam noticed him and called to him. He immediately ran out of the bushes and ran up to her. As soon as she picked him up, he started purring and rubbing all over her. She couldn't leave him behind and she couldn't take him home due to some major medical issues going on with her spouse so she brought him to the shelter where we promised to take him into the LAPCATS program so he would be safe. He was given the name Moto because of his constant purr (like a Motor)! He is currently in foster care but if you'd like to meet him, send us an email. He's a young fella with lots of love to give. He will greet you at the door, rub on you, climb up your leg to let you know he's there, play with toys and sit in your lap. He's a real charmer. He adores other animals and especially people. He'd be perfect for children.

SCACR-LAPCATS are either at the Sacramento County Animal Shelter, being fostered by a volunteer or in the Adoption Center at PetSmart, 8215 Laguna Boulevard, Elk Grove. They are up-to-date on vaccines, have tested negative for FELV/FIV, are spayed or neutered, treated with a flea preventative, have been de-wormed and are micro-chipped. The $100.00 adoption fee also includes a county license for Sacramento County residents, a free office visit with a participating veterinarian and other complimentary items.
