Morty's Story

Morty is wondering if there is anyone out there who loves pleasantly plump middle-aged cats? Morty has been with us for 224 days, or 7-months and just doesn't understand why he's still with AWW.

Morty weighed over 23 pounds when he arrived, and he is now down 7 pounds. He loves his hard kibble, but mostly only eats wet food. We will sprinkle his wet food with kibble at times.

Morty keeps to himself; he likes to find piles of blankets to lay on, even jumping up to the highest shelf. Morty can squeeze himself into the smallest pet taxi around. Morty doesn't seem to mind the dogs, and he likes his space with the other cats. He is feeling a bit overwhelmed at the rescue, and is hoping to find his fur-ever home soon.

Morty is 6-years-old, with a tabby on white short coat. Morty's up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped.

Can you have the ticket out of here for sweet Morty? He's hoping to meet his sweetheart by Valentine's Day!

"If you're interested in Morty, please contact A.W.W. by calling or texting 715-501-3000, emailing at rescue.aww@gmail.com, messaging our Facebook page, or check our website www.animalwelfarewi.org to fill out an adoption application. *Our website is up and running NOW.
