Mork's Story

Mork has very distinct markings. He and His sister Mindy were found as abandoned kittens. PAWS was able to take the siblings and after a short time in foster they made their way into the shelter. Mork is more shy than his sister but is not scared of people as long as they are calm and loving. He gets along with the other cats at the shelter but he tends to want find is own sunny spot to bask on the cat porch.

Our adoption process:
It is our goal to match each animal with the most compatible home, based on their personality and temperament. In order to do this we ask that all potential adopters fill out an adoption interview, as well as talk with a staff member about what they are looking for in a new pet. By doing this we can better match adoptee with an adopter. Resulting in forever homes!

Our staff knows each animal very well. Spending time each day with each animal gives her a good background on their personality, temperament, activity level and emotional needs. This information helps her to match up the adopter with the adoptee resulting in a successful and lifelong human/animal companionship.
