Moppet

Moppet is one of six young adults and nine kittens living in a camper in 100+ degree heat. There was concern of her being dumped at a local farm if help could not be found. She came to us a little over 4 lbs. skin and bones and ravenous and fighting for food. Her original owner admitted that all six cats and kittens were given one five ounce can of Friskies daily to split and the cats were expected to hunt for the rest of their food. After all she has been through she is confused and seeking a special home with compassion patience grace and understanding , After having her kittens abruptly taken away , surviving through starvation and learning a whole new way of life without her housemates she acts out at times and can nip when overstimulated / feeling insecure . She does seek out and want love . Her brain is still stuck in survival and hasn’t fully learned a life that feels safe and stable yet .She has lived with dogs so we expect she will be ok with cat respectful dogs . No children . Stable responsible loving homes only need apply . Will waive adoption fee for the right approved candidate . We do expect adopter to be financially capable of providing regular vet care .
