MOOSE (must be adopted with his brother SQUIRREL)'s Story

Meet Moose and Squirrel! These lovely brothers have been together since they were young kittens and must be adopted together. They would also prefer no young children as loud sounds and quick movements can spook them.

Although both are shy initially, Moose is the more outgoing of the two. He has never met a treat he didn't like. When he's not curled up with Squirrel, Moose enjoys snuggling with a person on the couch, getting pets, and chasing toys all around the room.

These 2 brothers like to wrestle with each other, go to town on a scratching post, and enjoy a good grooming session when they are sharing the same nap spot. Looking for treat loving, silly, playful boys in your house? Look no further.

Rhode Island Feline Rescue's Adoption Policy
We have a very detailed Adoption Application as well as an adoption coordinator system. Once an application is received, it will be reviewed by the adoption coordinator, vet records confirmed, residence status, renting/landlord information, pet permission, and employment verified then the coordinator conducts an interview with the potential adopter. If deemed a good match, the adoption coordinator forwards the information about the potential adopter to the foster. If the foster also agrees then they will have a meet and greet. At the completion of the meeting, if both parties agree the cat/kittens is a good fit an adoption contract is signed, and the adoption fee paid. We do not adopt on a first come, first served basis. All the cats and kittens in our care receive the following: checkup, spay/neuter, rabies & distemper vaccines, de-worming medicine, flea preventative, microchip, and Felv/FIV test.
