Moose's Story
Adoption Donation: $50

Meet Moose. This handsome tabby boy is hoping to spend his golden years in the comfort of a loving home. Moose was cherished his whole life, but everything changed in a single day when his owner fell and broke her hip. She isn’t coming home, and Moose is left trying to understand the loss of the only family he’s ever known. Despite it all, Moose remains the sweetest, most gentle soul. He’s affectionate, calm, and so deserving of a soft place to land. Senior cats like Moose don’t do well in the shelter—they miss the quiet, the routine, and the feeling of being someone’s beloved companion. Moose needs a foster or adopter now, someone to show him that he is still loved and that his story isn’t over. Let’s give this wonderful boy the peaceful, caring home he deserves.

All cats are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, and FeLV/FIV tested at the time of adoption.

An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment (unless your dog has had prior exposure to cats). A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption.

Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family.

Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals.
