Meet Moonbeam! Moonbeam has a unique look, in more ways than one. He has a very distinctive face, with a thick nose and almond-shaped eyes. You might also notice some slight glassiness to his eyes in his pictures - these are actually cataracts, which we believe he was born with. He is not on any medication for them, and for the most part, they have minimal impact on his day-to-day. We actually didn't realize they were even there until the photo shoot for his page - the glassiness showed up a lot more in the pictures than real life. Moonbeam runs, plays, and climbs like any other kitten, and is full of confident swagger. The only way he shows he might have vision problems is he occasionally bumps into other cats when trying to be friendly, which can make them annoyed with him. <br/><br/>Moonbeam does his best to make friends anyway, though. He is a super sweet, super affectionate, super loving cat. He is VERY vocal and will make his desire for attention known. He loves to be picked up, cuddled, and kissed. Any new human is immediately his best friend. He loves to run around the center and chase after toys. He's very adventurous, and likes to be up high. He WILL rub on any human possessions in his sight, to make sure we take a little bit of him home every shift. He is just the sweetest, most loving boy.<br/><br/>Moonbeam likes other cats and kittens, but will need a friend tolerant of his over-friendliness. We think he would do great with kids. He has not been tested with dogs.<br/><br/>Moonbeam is estimated to be 9 months old as of January 2026. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
