Moonbeam's Story

this 2 year old cat was found in a park and brought to a shelter at 2.14 lbs . In her critical state and needing extensive supportive care and monitoring around the clock she was due to be euthanized by 5:00 the same day we saved her life . We knew we were her only chance . As many starvation cases as we have taken on in the past , there are none quite like her . The vets have no medical explanation as to how she is alive . The anemia alone should have killed her. We knew her prognosis was guarded and that she came to us staring death literally in the face. Today ( months later ) Moonbeam is close to seven pounds ; is running , playing , climbing , jumping and absolutely in love with her new life . From the very first day I met her she wobbling, shaking , and falling when she would walk . She tried to jump on my lap , the doctors chair and thought about clearing the counter in the exam room . I caught her from falling mid air once and thought about having the Dr check my heart . Her will and her fight to survive has been such a gift . She is clear proof there is a wonderful GOD. We are so glad her life was spared and we know her life has a purpose . We are looking for an extra special adopter to offer the life , love and home she has fought very hard for . She has had thorough extensive and complete vetting from a reputable vet practice . We are looking for an applicant / applicants who will give her the world and some . If that’s you please email friendsoftheforgottencatrescue@gmail.com
