Moon (I'm a GENTLEMAN!)'s Story

**To ADOPT, please email us for an application form: info@TFPF.org**

Moon is a stunning, snow-white Siamese mix with crystal-blue eyes that seem to tell a story—a story of heartbreak, survival, and hope. At around one year old, this majestic, large-framed boy isn’t just a vision of beauty—he’s also one of the sweetest, most mellow souls you’ll ever meet.

But Moon’s journey hasn’t been easy.

He was heartbreakingly abandoned in a vacant apartment after his former owner moved overseas, leaving him behind without food, care, or explanation. For days, Moon waited—confused and alone—until a friend of the owner discovered what had happened. She took him in temporarily and contacted dozens of rescue groups, desperate to find him help.

That’s when The Fuzzy Pet Foundation (TFPF) stepped in.

Today, Moon is thriving in a peaceful foster home with loving, retired volunteers who treat him like royalty. He’s pampered, cherished, and finally receiving the comfort and affection he was once denied.

Moon is the definition of a gentleman. He’s impeccably clean with his litter box, has a healthy appetite, and is well-behaved—even during nail trims. He enjoys string toys, gentle head rubs, and calmly follows his foster family from room to room, content just to be near. While not a lap cat or attention-seeker, he deeply values connection and companionship.

Confident and friendly, Moon is never skittish. He prefers to roam freely rather than be carried around. Like many cats, he may startle if abruptly woken from a nap or lifted too quickly (such as during vet visits), but he’s very cooperative and settles quickly with calm, respectful handling.

Moon once lived with another female cat, but after some time solo, he seems to prefer being the only pet. During a recent cat introduction, he gave a few soft hisses but never showed aggression. He simply enjoys having his space—and being the center of your world. We believe he’d thrive in a home where he can be your one and only.

He has also done well with respectful children, but due to his peaceful nature, a quiet adult home or one with older, cat-savvy kids would be the best fit.

Moon is neutered, microchipped, de-fleaed, up-to-date on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative, and in excellent health. Now all he needs is a forever family—a safe, loving home where he’ll never be left behind again.

If you’re looking for a peaceful, affectionate companion with a resilient heart and gentle spirit, Moon may be your perfect match. He’s not just a cat—he’s a reminder of how love can heal even the most forgotten soul.

**To ADOPT, please email us for an application form: info@TFPF.org**

The Fuzzy Pet Foundation's Adoption Policy
Our Thorough Adoption Process ? At The Fuzzy Pet Foundation (TFPF), we take the responsibility of finding the best homes for our animals very seriously. Our adoption process is designed to ensure the safety and well-being of every cat and dog. Here are the steps involved: (1) Application: Each prospective adopter must fill out a detailed application. (2) Reference Check: We contact provided references to learn more about the adopter's experience and suitability. (3) Phone Call: We have a conversation to discuss expectations and answer any questions. (4) Home Visit: A home visit is conducted to ensure a safe environment for the pet. (5) Adoption Contract and Fee: Once approved, an adoption contract is signed to finalize the process, and the adoption fee will be collected. ? A Few Important Reminders ? ?? Respect and Kindness: We are a group of working professionals running TFPF as a volunteer-driven organization. We pour our hearts and souls into caring for these animals. Please be respectful and kind in your communications with us. ?? Patience: Our animals are in individual foster homes. Please do not demand to see them immediately or on the same day. We need time to thoroughly screen each application. Remember, we do not adopt out on a first-come, first-served basis. ?? Adoption Fees: These fees help cover a fraction of the expenses for vet care, housing, and supplies. Our adoption fee is generally 1/10 of what we incur. Please do not negotiate these fees as though you're bargaining for a bag of fruit. If you cannot afford the basic adoption fee, we advise against adopting, as vet bills and pet care expenses are significant everywhere. ?? Living Beings: Our animals are living, sentient beings. We ask for your understanding and patience as we work to find them the most loving and responsible homes. ? Zero Tolerance Policy: We will not tolerate rude, disrespectful, or entitled behavior, including "nasty grams" or aggressive emails. Thank you for your understanding and support. Together, we can find these wonderful animals the loving homes they deserve!
