Moon's Story

Moon is a spirited kitty with a heart as big as her boundless energy! Despite having only one eye, this little adventurer sees the world with twice the curiosity and excitement. Her days are filled with zoomies, daring leaps, and a relentless pursuit of fun—whether it’s chasing a feather toy or exploring every nook and cranny of her surroundings.

But don’t let her wild side fool you—Moon is also a cuddle champion. She adores curling up for snuggles and purring her way into your heart after a busy day of play. Her sweet and loving nature makes her the perfect companion for anyone who can keep up with her zest for life and give her all the love she deserves.

Moon’s motto? “Life is an adventure, and I’m here for it—all nine lives!” ??

It would be ideal if she could be adopted with her sister Eclipse. Their mom came from a hoarding situation - and both of them ended up with some eye issues due to the very common feline herpes virus. As you can see from their eyes - they do get a bit crusty. Despite not loving it when I clean them - they still love their foster very much (me) and tolerate it very well.

All CCATS's adoptable cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for parasites and have tested negative for FIV/FELV.

Ready to add some purr-fection to your life? Click on the “Start your Inquiry” button above to submit an Adoption Inquiry Form OR apply at https://ccatsrescue.org/ and click on "Adoption Application".

Moon can't wait to hear from you!

As each of the cats in our rescue are lovingly cared for in private foster homes, personal meet and greets are scheduled with a submitted application only, in an effort to be respectful of our foster families' time.

Many of our cats and kittens are also available to meet in person at our twice monthly (sometimes more often) adoption events. Adoption application must be completed, which includes an adoption contract. Applicants must agree to keep cats or kittens indoor only (with very limited exceptions). If applicants rent, we contact the landlord to ensure that they're allowed to have an animal(s), and we discuss the home layout and area's the cat(s) or kitten(s) will be able to utilize. While we always hope that anyone wanting to adopt is ready and able to - we try minimize negative outcomes with a thorough application review and following up on unclear questions.
