Mookie *MUST BE ADOPTED AS A BUDDY CAT*'s Story
Mookie is a very lovable, playful guy who has made a lot of progress and growth in his socialization over the past few months!

Although hesitant and distant with strangers at first, once he becomes comfortable, he is anything but bashful. This guy knows what he wants and he isn't afraid to get it. Often pushing his way onto the couch for pets, purring and meowing if you stop petting him for a second demanding more, he is a lovebug in the making. Areas of improvement include sitting on laps; he often ends up falling off from one floop or another, but this does not deter him, as he simply jumps back up and tries to flop over again!

Mookie can play with just about anything, he is a great self-starter and entertainer but also loves to play with the resident cat at his foster home. He has a great love for other cats and his personality has truly blossomed around his foster brother. His favorite toy is the classic spring, where he will carry it around with him to different parts of the apartment and throw it for himself to run after.

Although his personality is big, it is still very much blossoming. Mookie needs a quiet home where his adopter can spend time gaining his trust and letting him adjust to his new surroundings. He is still skittish around strangers and sudden movements or sounds, but he is growing (physically and emotionally) every day.

Mookie would do best adopted out to a home with a friendly resident cat.

Like all ACR cats, Mookie is up-to-date on vaccines and has been treated for fleas and parasites.
